LCA Temperature | 11 - 26 °C |

If weather is an important factor for your trip to Ayia Napa, use this chart to help with planning. For those seeking warmer temperatures, July is the ideal time of year to visit, when temperatures reach an average of 26.0 C. Travellers hoping to avoid the cold should look outside of January, when temperatures are typically at their lowest (around 11.0 C).
Peak Season
Ayia Napa is busiest during the summer months, which run between May and September. This is when the holiday season runs and when the temperatures are at their warmest. July and August mark the height of the peak season and flight tickets might be more expensive during this time. For the cheapest flights to Ayia Napa during the summer months, travel at the start of the season in May or towards the end of the season in September.
Off Season
If you’re travelling in the down season between September and April, expect cooler temperatures and an increase in rainfall. During this period you will find plenty of cheap flights to Ayia Napa and accommodation deals, but they aren’t as regular as during the summer months.

The journey was good on the whole. We had bikes with us so the dedicated oversize luggage lane at PMI was welcome. The flight was great, staff friendly as always. The only thing that lets down the return flight is the immigration at BHX. The separate area used by Jet2 is far too slow, I think we queued there for over an hour compared to generally going straight through or a 5 minute wait with other operators in the main facility at BHX. I know you will say that it's the responsibility of the airport, Home Office etc, but you really need to apply pressure to get this sorted out.

Paphos and Larnaca are the two nearest airports to Ayia Napa and both run great flight deals every day. From Paphos it takes just under 2 hours to get to Ayia Napa with regular shuttle services and buses. From Larnaca it takes 45 minutes on the road. Again, there are plenty of bus and shuttle services that operate from the airport as well as taxis that leave directly from the terminals.
